Ian Carr’s NUCLEUS recorded at Loughborough University in Leicester on February 18th 1976 whilst on a 12-date British University winter tour. Jazz, Rock, Fusion or Funk, this Live 2CD set has over 102 minutes of music and features the jazz legend ‘Ian Carr’ with a great live band of musicians as they toured their recent album ‘Alleycat’. Originally recorded for a live radio broadcast, this previously un-released set is mastered from the original master tapes. A 12-page booklet includes rare photos and sleeve notes from keyboard player – Geoff Castle and writer - Alyn Shipton - whose new biography on Ian Carr (Out Of The Long Dark) has just been published.
